Everything you need to know about requesting a refund or cancelling your Hosteering services.
At Hosteering, we want customers to have flexibility when managing their hosting services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains our refund, cancellation, service expiration, suspension, and data-retention procedures.
By purchasing a Hosteering hosting service, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.
Hosteering currently provides:
The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee described in this policy applies only to eligible hosting service fees.
Any additional services introduced by Hosteering in the future may have separate refund and cancellation terms.
Hosteering offers a 30-day money-back guarantee to New Customers purchasing an eligible Web Hosting or WordPress Hosting service.
A New Customer is a customer who is subscribing to a Hosteering hosting service for the first time and has not previously held a Hosteering hosting service.
The guarantee applies only to the customer's first eligible Hosteering hosting subscription.
To qualify:
The 30-day guarantee does not apply again when an existing or former customer purchases another hosting service or returns to Hosteering after previously using our services.
The Money-Back Guarantee applies only to eligible hosting service fees.
Charges that are not part of an eligible hosting service are not covered by the guarantee. This includes domain-related fees and any future third-party products, services, fees, or other charges identified as non-refundable at the time of purchase.
Once the 30-day Money-Back Guarantee period has expired, hosting service fees are generally non-refundable.
This includes cancellations made during an active billing period after the Money-Back Guarantee period has ended.
Unused time remaining on a monthly or yearly hosting subscription is not automatically refundable when a customer chooses to cancel the service.
Eligible customers may request a refund through Hosteering's available support channels.
Customers may be required to provide account, service, and payment information necessary for Hosteering to verify the request and determine eligibility.
Hosteering will review each refund request before approving or declining it.
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 5–7 business days.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's bank account, card, wallet, or other payment account may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
Where possible, refunds will be returned using the original payment method.
Customers may request cancellation of a hosting service at any time.
Under normal cancellation:
Customers may withdraw the cancellation before the service expiration date and continue the service.
Customers who qualify for the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee may request a refund in accordance with the Money-Back Guarantee provisions of this policy.
A customer who has requested cancellation may withdraw the cancellation before the service expiration date.
Once the cancellation is withdrawn, the service can continue under its existing billing and renewal terms.
If a hosting subscription reaches its renewal or expiration date without successful payment, Hosteering will suspend the hosting service.
Suspension may cause the hosted website and associated services to become unavailable.
The customer's account and associated hosting data may remain retained for a 30-day recovery period following the service expiration date.
During this period, the customer may renew the service and pay the applicable outstanding amount. Once payment has been successfully completed, Hosteering may restore the suspended service.
If an expired hosting service remains unpaid throughout the full 30-day recovery period, Hosteering may permanently terminate the service.
Following permanent termination, associated hosting data may be permanently deleted, including:
After permanent deletion, Hosteering may be unable to recover the deleted data.
Customers are responsible for maintaining their own independent backups of important website, database, email, and other data.
When a customer voluntarily cancels a hosting service, the service remains active until the end of the current paid billing period unless immediate termination is specifically requested and accepted by Hosteering.
Following termination, Hosteering may retain associated service data for up to 7 days before permanent deletion.
This retention period is provided as a limited recovery window and should not be considered a guaranteed data-restoration service.
Customers should download or otherwise maintain copies of important data before their hosting service terminates.
The cancellation and recovery provisions in this policy do not restrict Hosteering's right to suspend or terminate services under our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
Hosteering may suspend or terminate services where appropriate because of serious policy violations, security threats, abuse, fraud, illegal activity, or other prohibited conduct.
In such cases, the 30-day non-payment recovery period may not apply.
Hosteering performs scheduled backups of eligible hosting data on a weekly basis, with backup copies generally retained for up to one week.
Backups are provided as an additional recovery facility and are not a substitute for the customer's own independent backups.
Customers remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their websites, databases, emails, files, and other important information.
Hosteering does not guarantee that every item of customer data can always be restored from a backup.
Hosteering may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, billing practices, or operational policies.
The latest version published on the Hosteering website will apply to future transactions and requests.
