Please read these terms carefully. They define the rules, responsibilities, and guidelines for using Hosteering services.
Welcome to Hosteering. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hosteering's website, hosting services, and related products and services.
By ordering, accessing, or using any Hosteering service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not purchase or use our services.
Hosteering provides web hosting and related services to individuals, businesses, organizations, and other customers.
Our services may include:
Specific features, resources, pricing, and limitations may vary depending on the service or plan you purchase.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or purchasing a service from Hosteering.
You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement for the services you purchase. If you are purchasing a service on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to do so.
You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date.
You are also responsible for maintaining the security of your Hosteering account and login credentials. You must keep your passwords confidential, use reasonable security measures to protect your account, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it resulted directly from unauthorized access caused by Hosteering's failure to maintain reasonable security.
Hosteering will never ask you to provide your account password through an unsolicited message.
Hosteering provides services according to the specifications and resources associated with the hosting plan you purchase.
Hosting plans may have limitations relating to resources such as:
Hosteering may take reasonable action where a website or account consistently consumes excessive resources and negatively affects server performance or other customers.
Where practical, we will contact the customer and attempt to resolve the issue before taking significant action.
You agree to use Hosteering services responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
You must not use Hosteering services to:
This list is not exhaustive. Hosteering may take appropriate action against activities that create a significant security, operational, or legal risk.
Additional restrictions may be described in our Acceptable Use Policy.
You are solely responsible for the content, files, applications, databases, websites, and other material that you upload or operate through your Hosteering account.
Hosteering does not claim ownership of your website content.
You must ensure that you have the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authority to use and distribute any content hosted through our services.
Hosteering is not responsible for determining whether your content complies with third-party intellectual property rights or other legal requirements.
Where Hosteering provides WordPress hosting or other application hosting, the software may include third-party components.
You are responsible for keeping your website, plugins, themes, scripts, and other applications reasonably secure and updated unless Hosteering explicitly agrees to manage them for you.
Hosteering is not responsible for problems caused by:
We may assist with troubleshooting where possible, but support does not guarantee that every third-party software issue can be resolved.
Where Hosteering provides website migration services, we will make reasonable efforts to transfer the website and associated data correctly.
Migration results can depend on the original hosting environment, website configuration, software compatibility, database condition, DNS settings, and other factors outside our control.
You remain responsible for maintaining access to your existing hosting account and keeping your original website and data available until the migration has been confirmed as successful.
Unless otherwise agreed, you should not cancel your previous hosting service immediately after requesting a migration.
Hosteering is not responsible for data that is already missing, corrupted, inaccessible, or damaged on the original hosting environment before migration begins.
You are ultimately responsible for maintaining independent backups of your website and important data.
If Hosteering provides backups as part of a hosting service, those backups are provided as a recovery aid and should not be considered your only copy of your data.
Backups may occasionally fail, become incomplete, be unavailable, or be affected by technical problems.
Hosteering does not guarantee that every file, database, email, or other piece of customer data can always be restored.
For important websites and business-critical data, we strongly recommend maintaining an independent backup.
You agree to pay all applicable fees for the services you purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, hosting services are provided for the billing period selected at checkout.
Services may be suspended or terminated if payment is not received when due.
You are responsible for keeping your payment and billing information current.
Prices may change from time to time. Any applicable price changes will be communicated through the appropriate channels and will generally apply to future billing periods rather than already-paid periods.
Hosteering may temporarily suspend a service when reasonably necessary, including where:
Where practical, we will attempt to notify you before suspension.
However, immediate suspension may be necessary where there is an urgent security, abuse, or operational risk.
Hosteering may terminate an account or service where:
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before termination. Some violations may require immediate termination.
You may cancel your Hosteering service in accordance with our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The availability and amount of any refund depends on the applicable service and circumstances described in that policy.
Fees that are specifically identified as non-refundable will not be refunded except where required by applicable law or where Hosteering chooses otherwise.
We aim to keep Hosteering services reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Service interruptions may occur due to:
Hosteering will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services as quickly as practical.
Any specific uptime commitment or service credit will only apply where expressly stated in the applicable service or a separate Service Level Agreement.
Hosteering provides customer support for issues related to our services.
Support availability and response times may vary depending on the service and support channel.
Our support team may assist with hosting-related configuration, troubleshooting, migration, and general service questions.
However, support does not guarantee that we will:
We will make reasonable efforts to help identify and resolve issues within the scope of our services.
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to secure your websites and account.
This includes:
If we identify a security issue that poses a significant risk to our infrastructure or other customers, we may take reasonable protective measures, including temporarily restricting or suspending the affected service.
Hosteering may investigate suspected abuse, fraud, security incidents, or violations of these Terms.
Where reasonably necessary, we may review relevant account, server, network, or service information to investigate such incidents.
We will handle customer information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Hosteering may rely on third-party providers for certain parts of our services, including infrastructure, payment processing, security, software, networking, and other services.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Hosteering is not responsible for failures or changes originating entirely from third-party providers, although we will make reasonable efforts to resolve or mitigate issues affecting our customers.
The Hosteering name, branding, website design, logos, original content, and other materials provided by Hosteering are owned by or licensed to Hosteering unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Hosteering's proprietary materials without permission.
You retain ownership of the content and materials you provide to Hosteering, subject to any rights necessary for us to provide the services.
Your use of Hosteering services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

We may also make technical changes that are necessary for security, performance, infrastructure, or operational reasons.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
If you continue using Hosteering services after updated Terms become effective, your continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree with an updated version of the Terms, you may cancel your affected services in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Hosteering will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include:
We will make reasonable efforts to restore services when such circumstances occur.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If Hosteering does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean Hosteering has permanently waived the right to enforce that provision later.
These Terms, together with the policies and agreements specifically referenced within them, form the agreement between you and Hosteering regarding your use of our services.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific service agreement, the specific agreement may apply to the extent of that conflict.
If you have questions about these Terms or need assistance with your Hosteering account, please contact us through the contact details provided on the Hosteering website.
